In my sessions I do my best to be receptive to my students, recognising areas of both stamina and also weakness and adjusting the pace, style and strategy of the lessons appropriately. Throughout my knowing of mathematics I have always really felt that I engage the most with the subject via doing numerous example issues, so I would certainly put a high value on this technique to discovering in my sessions. I will review the last week's material at the start of each lesson to ensure a strong understanding and to develop self-esteem for the tutees as they move forward.
I will endeavour to dispel any hesitation or anxiety when coming close to 'bigger' troubles, whether in size or complexity of their topic, by revealing natural ways to break down the issue into smaller sections which are simpler to take on, before developing to a complete, comprehensive solution.
I can ensure that I will certainly be patient as well as encouraging in all of my communication with tutees. I would like to not only increase my students' knowledge yet also, via the complete satisfaction of their progress and success, see them expand an interest to Maths as I have.
